Understanding the Different Types of Addiction and Which One is Right for You
When you’re ready to commit to recovery, your next question will likely be, “What kind of addiction treatment is right for me?” At Legacy Healing Center, we help each client develop an addiction recovery plan that is personally tailored to suit their needs for their recovery. From an inpatient program to different outpatient program choices, you will have a plethora of recovery opportunities available to you.
For many, medical detox will be the first step in your recovery journey. The Legacy team assists our clients in going through the withdrawal process from their drug or drink of choice. Withdrawal usually begins within just a few hours. It could be potentially deadly depending on the severity of your addiction which is why it’s strongly recommended you never attempt to go through the process by yourself.
An inpatient residential rehab gives you the opportunity to go through the recovery process with the peace of mind of knowing that you have around-the-clock access to our team and luxurious amenities. Although the bulk of your day will involve participating in counseling, you will have the chance to indulge in all of the comforts that our facility has to offer.
Outpatient Rehab
When considering the rehab program that is best for you, you must take several factors into account. Many clients who reach out to us cannot enroll in an inpatient program because of other responsibilities in their life. Or they want to continue their treatment once they are done with their inpatient program, which is part of the reason why we designed comprehensive outpatient programs, such as
Intensive outpatient
An intensive outpatient program is a step-down version of our partial hospitalization program in many ways. Not only will you participate in different forms of therapy to help you work through your addiction, but you will also have the opportunity to take advantage of our community housing option and continue to develop your sober relationships. Intensive outpatient clients will need to commit to a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week.
General outpatient
Our general outpatient program is the most flexible of all of our programs, making it perfect for a client who needs to work or go to school. We will collaborate with you to design a program that doesn’t impede your other responsibilities but still gives you the chance to receive addiction treatment.
Aftercare
With years of experience as addiction experts, we understand that recovery is a lifelong journey. We also developed a comprehensive aftercare program to help you manage different aspects of your life once you’re done with your treatment program.
Our Addiction Aftercare program provides you with a unique opportunity to maintain relationships not only with our staff but with other clients that have completed their own addiction recovery program. Throughout the year, we will organize sober-friendly outings that you can attend with other Legacy Healing alumni and group meetings that will help give you the continued support you need as you keep looking forward to your recovery.
